Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data AI Career Agent (operated by Kainat Anwar Shaikh) collects, why, and your choices. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. What we collect

• Account details: your email address and login information.
• Your resume and the career details you add, such as location and job preferences.
• Records of your credits, orders and Prep Kits.
• Messages you send to support, including chatbot conversations you choose to send to us.

We do not collect or store your card, UPI or bank details. Razorpay handles all payment information.

2. Why we use it

• To match you with jobs and create your Prep Kits.
• To process payments and keep track of your credits.
• To answer your support requests.
• To keep the service secure and prevent misuse.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the service:

• Supabase (database and hosting of your account data).
• Anthropic (the AI that writes your Prep Kits and answers the chatbot).
• Razorpay (payments).
• Vercel (website hosting) and Resend (support emails).

We may also share data if the law requires it.

4. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your resume, kits and profile within 7 days. We may keep payment records for as long as tax law requires.

5. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent. Email aicareer.agent.support@gmail.com from your account email and we will reply within 7 days.

6. Security

Your data is stored with access controls so that only you can see your resume and kits. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
